4/9 A Message From Fr. Tharp

Dear Sacred Heart and St. Ann Parishioners and friends:

Holy Thursday Mass

There was an equipment malfunction in the recordings of the Holy Thursday and Good Friday ceremonies last night at St. Ann.  When loaded onto the hard drive for transfer to Youtube, both services look beautiful with the St. Ann sanctuary in the background, but there is absolutely no sound.    Our IT person has indicated that the sound cannot be recovered from the memory chip.  In other words, the pre-recorded services can now be viewed only as “silent movies.”

Therefore, the Holy Thursday Mass will be celebrated today (Holy Thursday) at Sacred Heart by “live streaming” for your viewing at 5:00 p.m. and then will be available for viewing at anytime thereafter on our Youtube page by around 6:00 p.m.   Remember that for viewing live stream Masses, or even for viewing recorded Masses, you can avoid the crowd at the parish websites and the inconvenience of a possible server crash, by going directly to the Pastoral Region of Sacred Heart and St. Ann  Youtube site by highlighting and clicking on the following youtube address:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVLLqbEY5hKWinwz069MVcg

Good Friday Three Part Service

The Good Friday service will be re-recorded (this time with sound) at St. Ann and will be available for viewing by 12:00 noon on Good Friday or anytime thereafter.

Easter Vigil

Easter Vigil will be “live streamed” in real time from Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 and will be available on our Youtube site anytime thereafter.

Easter Sunday Morning

The Easter Sunday morning Mass will be recorded and posted on our Youtube site by early morning Sunday, April 12.
